Hello! We are Jay, Andrea, Lucy, & Jack. Our family of four currently lives a mile outside of Atlanta in a diverse, well-established neighborhood. We have been married for 8 years, and our oldest, Lucy, is 5-years-old, and our youngest, Jack, is 3. We are a family that loves to travel and experience new places. Since we live close to Atlanta, we take advantage of all the city has to offer: museums, festivals, kids parks/zoos/aquariums, and all the amazing restaurants! We also love watching soccer and football together, and we often go to UGA football games or Atlanta United games together. We are a family that loves Jesus and wants to serve Him in all that we do; it is important for us to raise our children to learn how to love like Jesus does. We are praying for all expectant parents and hope that you can feel God's peace during this time of making difficult decisions. With love~Andrea, Jay, Lucy, & Jack

More About Our Family
Our letter to expectant parents: Dear expectant parents, We are so honored that you are viewing our profile and are considering choosing adoption for your child. Thank you for considering our family as a future place of love for your baby. Please know we are praying for you as you make these upcoming decisions, and we realize that this is difficult for you. Our family is excited to adopt because we believe adoption is something God has put on our hearts to do. Since high school, both of us--before we even knew each other--felt that adoption was something He was individually calling us to do one day. Over time, we had two biological children, and recently the urge to adopt was again rekindled. What could be a better way to share God's amazing grace and love, expressing our gratitude for all He's done for us? We are beyond blessed by the adoption we have into God's family! We are committed to creating a safe, loving, respectful, and wonderful life for your child. Additionally, we have always imagined having three or more children. If chosen, your baby would already have two older siblings and make us a family of five. Our daughter, Lucy, is four, and our son, Jack, is two. Both have brought us so much joy in our lives, which is why we are pursuing more children to be a part of our family. We've already had many conversations with our children about an adopted baby and how each of them will have one another, even when we are gone. We are humbled at the opportunity of weaving the traditions and culture of a new child into the fabric of our family. Recently, Jay's sister passed away unexpectedly. She always shared with us her desire to one day have children of her own, and she always hoped it would be through adoption. She was a very loving aunt and 1st grade teacher. On many days, we've thought of her during this process and want to continue her legacy of love for children as well. As you read our profile, we hope you will see a glimpse into our family's every day lives. We are by no means perfect, but we strive to learn how to live in grace and forgiveness. May God bless you as you journey through this time! With love, Jay, Andrea, Lucy & Jack
About James (Jay)
More About James (Jay)
Jay is the best man I've ever known. He has a heart of empathy and compassion toward anyone he's ever met, and that makes him an amazing husband, father, and counselor. He pushes me to take risks and live life to its fullest! He reminds me to laugh at myself and to enjoy the moment by not worrying (too much) about the future. Jay loves God and has been transformed by God's love for him in so many ways. He is passionate about marginalized people and prays, hopes, and works toward a better future for them, especially in his counseling sessions. Wherever we go, I'm so proud to be the one he chose, the one that holds onto his arm, side-by-side. As a father, Jay loves to play and laugh with our kids. He continues to point them toward the love of Christ and focuses on teaching them how to deal with life's frustrations in a healthy way. I love this man so much!
More About Andrea
One of the first words that comes to mind about my precious wife is ferocious. Andrea passionately stands up for what she believes is right and refuses to settle regardless of what that might cost her. She is simultaneously very loyal to her friends/family, especially the kids and me. I am probably most thankful for that. I know that I can tell her anything and that she will stay by my side even if it hurts her, as we both struggle to grow into Christlikeness, accepting one anothers triumphs and defeats along the journey. Her heart for empowering kids via education, with heavy doses of affirmation and challenges to not settle for less than ones best, reflect the core of her. She wants all those she contacts to be strengthened into something better than they were before, especially those who have been looked over, devalued, or marginalized. She challenges me to be better organized, even when Id rather wing it so that I can accomplish more. She is a deep thinker, as I like to fancy myself, and I cherish our long talks about justice, the gospel, psychology, and everything else under the sun as they always help me to grow and learn. I'm so very thankful for the daily care she gives our kids and I and cant imagine life without my best friend!
