For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord...plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Birth Family,

First of all we would like to thank you for your brave and selfless act of choosing life for this child. Secondly, we thoroughly appreciate the opportunity that you are giving to us by considering us as possible adoptive parents. We would like to tell you about us. Dusty and I met in August of 2004. We were engaged in December of 2004 and married June 2005. We knew of each other because we went to high school together but did not date each other until after college. Dusty's big heart and enjoyment of life is what attracted me to him. While Amy's outgoing and fun-loving personality attracted me to her.

Amy is 33 years old and stays at home with our son Tate. Amy enjoys walking, running, being outdoors, golfing, boating, and taking care of her flowers. Dusty is 32 years old and is part owner in the family business. Dusty enjoys golfing, hunting, grilling, riding motorcycle, and generally about anything else outdoors. We have done many exciting things together and enjoy spending time with each other, but we are even more excited to do these things with our children. We really want to take our children to Disney World!! We also enjoy the pool so that would be something we would like to do with our children. Going away is really fun and we are so excited to begin this with our children, but we also look forward to spending time at home reading books, playing cars or Barbies, and being completely dedicated to our children.

The Lord has blessed the two of us very much over the past seven years. The one thing that we are missing in our lives yet is the opportunity to share these blessings and love with a child. We have been trying to have a child now for awhile, but we felt the Lord was steering us in a different direction.   Amy has experienced the blessings of adoption as her brother was adopted and became an important person in her family. We both felt that we were called to start the process of adoption. The Lord blessed us with our first child in November 2012. We adopted a little baby boy that we named Tate.

Tate has been the biggest and best blessing that we could have every asked for. It was so amazing to us to feel how much love you can have instantly when we saw him and knew that we were chosen to love and care for him. We feel so fortunate to have him in our lives; we can’t imagine life without him now. It is so wonderful to watch the interaction between our family and friends with Tate. We felt that we were called to start the adoption process again and share all our love and blessing with a little brother or sister to Tate. We can't imagine what you are going through right now as expectant parents, but we both admire your courage to carry out the birth of this child and possibly let us love and care for him/her the rest of our lives. We can tell you this is a very exciting time for us, our relatives, and friends. We have a lot of love and support from family and friends. We appreciate that you have taken the time to read about us. May God bless you through this journey.
