Hello!

Thank you for taking a moment to get to know us.

We are honored that you would consider us as you search for an adoptive family for your baby.  We can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you.  The amount of respect we have for someone who would make such a selfless decision is impossible to put into words.  You are your baby’s hero.  You are our hero.  And we are grateful to be given the opportunity to share our lives with you.

About Us:
We are a Christian couple that met in 2004 while working for a retail store.  We had to sneak in little parts of our days to get to know each other.  Natalie swore that she’d never date a co-worker but that didn’t deter Nathan!  Thanks to his persistence, we soon were dating and immediately felt a connection.  We were engaged in 2005, married in 2006 and have been happily building our life together ever since – one that is filled with love, support and lots of laughter!  We honestly can’t imagine doing this life adventure with anyone else…we truly are best friends.

Why Adoption?
Like many families, our Adoption Story begins with infertility.  We knew from the start that we wanted a family and now we are very excited to have the opportunity to make this dream a reality through Adoption!

Our Life:
We love to spend as much time together as we can.  Every year we go on multiple camping trips to Minnesota State Parks in our pop up camper.  We are looking forward to adding The Black Hills, Yellowstone and many other places to our list!  Whether by ourselves or with others – we love to get out and experience new places!  Another thing we love to do is go on road trips.  There is something about packing up the car, putting on some good music and hitting the road that is so exciting for us!  Anything from driving around the State to driving across the Country we are always game for a new adventure!  We also have a family cabin North of the Twin Cities that we sneak away to.  It’s a great place to relax and unwind.  With all that traveling, there really is no place like home...movie nights are the best!  Some of our other interests include golfing (mostly mini golf for Natalie!), hiking, bike riding, trying new recipes and spending time with our family and friends.

Nathan (by Natalie):
Nathan is a calm and quiet guy that has a fantastic sense of humor.  He is the youngest of 3 boys so you can imagine the chaos in their house growing up!  He loves to work on renovation projects on our home and our family’s homes.  He recently completed a major remodel to give me a much-needed pantry!  He grew up very involved in music – playing the trumpet from 6th grade through his first year of college and was able to travel around the country playing in the Marching Band and a Brass Quintet.  When he’s not working on projects he loves to read, golf and snuggle up with me on the couch watching Netflix.

Natalie (by Nathan):
Natalie is an outgoing and caring person who goes out of her way to help those she cares about.  She comes from a very large family – she is the oldest of 4 children and has over 30 cousins!  Because of this, she is used to many different family dynamics and is ready for whatever is thrown at her!  She has a great sense of humor and loves to make people laugh.  Natalie is definitely the planner of the family – when a party or get together is in the works, she is always the first one in (along with her Sister aka co-planner aka best friend!).  During the warm months, you will find Natalie out working on the yard or in the garden.  She also loves to cook or just to curl up on the couch with a good book.

Our Family:
We are extremely close to our families and they are all very excited to welcome a new child into the mix!  Nathan has two brothers and for his Parents this will be their first grandchild.  Natalie has two brothers and a sister and the little one will be joining a team of 4 cousins.  We get together with our families as often as we can and there is always a card or board game going!  We are blessed to have such a wonderful support network of family and friends.

Thank You!
We deeply appreciate you taking the time to learn about us.  Please know, no matter what you decide for you and your baby, our hearts go out to you.  If you choose to bless us with your baby, we will consider it the most amazing gift of our lives.  We hope for an ongoing, open relationship with you if you wish.  We know we won't be perfect parents, but you can be sure we will do our best to raise your child to the best of our abilities and always make sure to provide a loving and supportive home full of fun and laughter.

Your child will know what a brave and loving decision you made.

Sincerely,

Nathan and Natalie
