More About Our Family

Our family loves to spend time together! We love to travel to other countries and learn about people in other cultures. We also love to travel within the states--visiting family, exploring national and state parks, camping and hiking in the mountains, and relaxing at the beach. During the summer, we spend our free days swimming and boating at the lake. One of our favorite things to do is make homemade pizza and invite some friends or family over for a game night. Trying new recipes and enjoying all kinds of meals together is a regular part of our lifestyle. We love to eat! We have been married twelve years. Even before we were married, we talked and dreamed together about one day being able to adopt children into our family. After five years of marriage, God allowed us to get pregnant, and He brought Titus into our family. Five years later, God brought our second son, Lucas, into our family through adoption. We love both of our boys dearly and can't imagine life without them! We are thrilled now that we are able to adopt again and that another precious child will become part of our family. We are praying for the little one now and are beyond excited! Titus is seven, and he loves reading, telling jokes, and zipping around on his scooter. He loves to laugh and giggle and play at the park. He adores his younger brother, and the two of them play everything together. Lucas is two and loves trains and soccer. He has the sweetest smile and makes us laugh at the mischievous things he does. He looks up to his big brother and tries to imitate him in every way. Both boys are excited to have a new baby in the family!

About Sarah

More About Sarah

Sweet, kind, creative, compassionate, athletic, wise, beautiful, godly, quiet, thoughtful--these are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of Sarah. She is always looking for ways to serve others and to invest in them. She often plans special surprises for our family and looks for ways to make each day special whether it's by adding personal notes to our lunches or searching through the library to find just the right book that is sure to be the next favorite for the kids. Sarah loves cooking, baking, and experimenting with new recipes. She constantly searches for new ideas and often includes the boys by letting them help her with measurements or stirring up a batch of cookies. Sarah also loves reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. She is actively involved not only at home but also in our church where she ministers to many of the single women, inviting them over for coffee and tea, counseling and encouraging them.
