Dear Birth Mother,

We may never understand completely what it’s like to be in your shoes.  We have the highest respect for you deciding to carry a precious child and then entrust him or her to another family.  You have great courage and a great heart.

We have thought about adoption for many years and for many reasons.  Adoption has long been in Lauren’s heart as a possibility, and Jason has supported this direction.  We believe adoption is a beautiful reflection of our beliefs as Christians.  Both of us have always looked favorably at adoption and have grown over time to see it as the path God is leading us down.

Now, a little about us. Jason is the oldest of three boys. His family has been very involved in his life. His favorite season is the fall – he loves the outdoors and fall weather, hunting season and football. Lauren is also the oldest, and has two brothers. She grew up close to grandparents and cousins and still gets together with them frequently. She loves cooking, art and working in the yard. We live in a house in a family-friendly neighborhood. Our dog Annie thinks she runs the show. We love our being involved in our church and traveling to new places.

Thank you for taking a moment to consider us. We love life and our families.  We know that God has a plan for us and the child he holds in His future as well as ours.

Thank you,
Jason & Lauren
